This is a delay in diagnosis of breast cancer case. Looking for an OB/GYN to render opinions regarding the standard of care of the GYN and office staff for failing to report an addendum to a diagnostic mammography report to the patient. Patient had reported feeling a pea sized lump approximately 2 years prior and was being followed with Mammo/US. March 15, 2024 mammogram was reported as normal. 10 days later an addendum was made describing abnormal findings including an increase in size and indistinct margins and recommending US guided core biopsy. (It is not known why the addendum was undertaken and not reported on initial findings). Radiologist Addendum includes reference to OB/GYN office but information was not conveyed to patient until May 2025 when she was undergoing annual testing and the tech mentioned the prior addendum and findings. Need Florida physician as case will likely involve both OB/GYN and criticisms of office staff for failing to advise patient and arrange timely follow up.
